The Department of Fashion Design plays an important role in preparing its students to become entrepreneurs. In the year 2007, the Undergraduate Course was established solely as a Creative department. The curriculum is exclusively designed to benefit students by complementing industry-based learning and delivers the highest level of quality with 100% practical learning. To become a fashion designer, one must not only be artistic and creative but also have strong communication and decision-making abilities. Each student enrolled in the course obtains hands-on training with one-on-one interaction. Aside from the curriculum, students are encouraged to learn and develop other skills through a variety of workshops, seminars, and other activities that are held on a constant schedule.\u00a0The Department of Fashion Technology and Costume Designing is dedicated to quality through teaching, research, and creative works, and it fosters an intellectual culture that connects Fashion Design with producing holistic graduates who are prepared for a life of purpose, service, and creative leadership.\u00a0The main objective of this department is to train the students on par with the technological elevations and to deal with various aspects of fashion, Designing, printing, marketing, quality control, and merchandising of various textiles, apparel, garments, and accessories.<\/span><\/p>

Infrastructure:<\/strong>
The Department hosts a good number of labs suited to the university’s needs like the Fashion Studio Lab, Pattern Making Lab, Sewing Lab, and Arts and Crafts Lab.<\/p>
