Conducting group discussions and interactive seminars. Assistance in preparing for TOEFL, GMAT, GATE, and entrance examinations of MCA/MBA of National Level Institutes.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT CELL
Our college organized an "Entrepreneurship Development Cell" (EDC) from 10-11-2004 for creating awareness about the self-employment system to the student's community. 
The Objective of EDC is
  • To give support to students for helping them to start their own business.
  • To equip them with the necessary skills.
  • To assist in placement.
  • To Impact the self-management concept to the students for their future enhancement.
Some of the key highlights of them are:
  • The cell recommended more than 400 students to attend a training program on women entrepreneurship organised by the District Industrial Centre on 2nd August 2005.
    • The students attended Orientation programs in the IECD, Bharathidasan University, Trichy in various dates.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT CELL
  • More than 156 students who have secured above 60% in their UG degree have registered with the women's placement cell of Bharathidasan University, Trichy.
  • An intercollegiate aptitude level test was conducted at our college on the 11th of January 2006, which was organised by IECD, Bharathidasan University, Trichy.
  • From the recommendation of this cell, more than 62 students got the job. All UG and PG students have registered in various private recruiting agencies.
  • The final year Pg students of all the departments are being recommended to the IECD for venture capital.

PARENTS TEACHERS ASSOCIATION
Parent-Teacher Association is functioning excellently in this institution. Selected parents who can give positive suggestions are invited periodically to attend the Parent-Teacher Association. The suggestions given by the positive thinking parents are given added attention and implemented for framing future policies of the institutions.

ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
The Alumni association of this institution keeps complete track of all the students who passed out from the college gloriously. The Alumni who are in India and abroad are invited to attend periodical meetings in this institution. Outgoing students also attend the meetings. The interaction between alumni and outgoing students is highly advantageous to the latter.

USSC-UNIVERSITY STUDENTS SERVICE CORPS
A unique scheme which is organised to tame the students mentally. The students are trained in yoga, meditation & personality value programs, which develop students mentally, spiritually and help them to have emotional balance in life.

NSS
The college has 3 NSS units. These units have adopted nearby villages, and have imparted various beneficiaries to the villagers and also to the college.

RED RIBBON CLUB
The Red Ribbon Club was incepted in the college with the notion of creating awareness among students related to AIDS. The unit has organised various seminars and workshops and has also taken the students for visits to the community affected by AIDS.

YRC-YOUTH RED CROSS
The YRC unit of the college organizes various blood donation camps. The unit also hosts seminars on the importance of blood and blood donation. The students are enriched with values and it conducts seminars where the lectures are given by the lead doctors from the Medical College.

ROTARACT CLUB
The Rotaract club of this college aims at providing good morals to the students by organising various goodwill programs and taking them to distribute beneficiaries to the needy student group and aged people.

FINE ARTS
The college has two separate units for fine arts comprising of boys and girls unit respectively. The students are encouraged to participate in various cultural events. They are motivated and allowed to participate in various intercollegiate competitions also. The students participate in BARD fest competitions and have fetched laurels to the college. Every year the association organises a fine arts day traditionally hosted after the college annual day which spans 2 days where special celebrities are invited who also host some programs. The students are awarded certificates in view of their appreciation towards participation.
