The importance of competent hoteliers is increasing with each passing day as five-star hotels and resorts spring up around the country and chefs are feted at international events. The department is well equipped with journals and books which equip the students with the latest trends and knowledge of different cuisines. The department offers special training which fetches placement for the students in various establishments like cruise lines, Airlines, Hotels, etc. The students are taught spoken Hindi in addition to regular academic activities.

Objective

The prime focus of the department is to create self-confidence to the students through various sessions like personality and communication skills classes and insight into various languages that could assist them in their jobs.

Infrastructure

The department is well equipped with Galaxy Mock restaurant, Hollywood Mock Bar, Visualised Bar counter, Front Office & House Keeping. Separate labs are available for the front office and housekeeping which has all the necessary culinary and crockery.
